John O’Neill was born and raised in central Massachusetts. He attended undergraduate school at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977.
After a short stint as a clerk with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Mr. O’Neill began his employment with law firms in 1979. From 1979 to 1987, he was a certified paralegal in Washington, D.C., working for law firms within steps of the White House.
In 1987, Mr. O’Neill relocated to the Seattle area. He attended the former University of Puget Sound School of Law beginning 1989, earning his Juris Doctorate degree in 1992. Thereafter, he relocated to Arizona with a primary employment focus on civil litigation, first with the State’s Attorney General’s office, then in private practice.
Mr. O’Neill joined Petersen Johnson in 2005. Since that time, he has been assigned to the firm’s litigation section representing its accident and injury clients in Arizona’s courts and insurance tribunals.
